[Rossetti, Christina] Familiar Correspondence
Berkshire, England: The Mill House Press, by Stanford Dingley, 1962.
First Edition. 8vo. Original tan patterned paper with beige cloth spine containing lettering in black. Only 67 copies produced of this scarce and attractive work, newly translated from the Italian of Christina Rossetti, by Robert Gathorne-Hardy, a co-founder of Mill House Press. The book contains letters written by Christina Rossetti in Italian, primarily to her family members. While her brother William Michael Rossetti had translated some of her Italian letters for a 1908 collection, this 1962 Mill House edition presented newly translated versions specifically for this fine-press release. Scarce. Fine.
