First edition. Original smooth green cloth with superb gilt design on both covers and spine comprising straight and coiled lines and circles, designed by D. G. Rossetti. Two full-page woodcut illustrations by Dante Gabriel Rossetti comprising frontispiece and extra title-page (separated by an inserted tissue leaf). This is a fine copy, one of the best copies we’ve seen of this important and early combination Christina and D.G. Rossetti masterpiece.
