A scarce Christina Rossetti title in first edition, and this copy has a hitherto iuncited (to our knowledge) misprint on page 20, appearing as only "2," which could be due to a faulty registry or the breaking of the typeset. Still and unusual and interesting finding. Two full-page woodcut illustrations by Dante Gabriel Rossetti comprising frontispiece and extra title page (separated by an inserted tissue leaf).
