Superb decorative binding by Cuneo (Cuneo Fine Binding Studio) consisting of attractively gilt and onlaid morocco covers along with all-over decorated paper covered boards, by "Cuneo" (with gilt pallet signature, "Bound by Cuneo" on front lower dentelle. The covers with interesting repeating onlays of green morocco diamonds, interwoven with bold gilt blossom motif, corner portions with single design motif, spine with cream morocco onlay at top, entire lower half elaborately gilt with repeating vertical strap work and blossom design, four gilt bands with stippling, gilt lettering on three panels. Gold watered silk doublures. A very attractive Cuneo binding, headed by Leonard Mounteney- previously a finisher at Riviere Bindery- on a nice Elston Press title (170 copies, printed in red and black on handmade paper).
