The three works in orange publisher's cloth in gilt and blind, probably circa 1840 by Remnant and Edmonds, though only one of the three with their ticket. 9 1/2 x 6 1/8 inches (24.5 x 15.5 cm); respectively , 254 pp., with 24 hand-colored plates; [iv], 268 pp., with 24 hand-colored plates; [ii], ii, 292 pp., with 18 hand-colored plates. The first with some soiling and wear, the second two quite bright, generally internally fresh, and all uncut. Three fine Ackermann publications with Rowlandson illustrations. Watermarks, where locatable, are of the correct date for the first editions (Johnny Quae Genus has an 1821 watermark). Tooley 436 for the first; Tooley 413, Abbey Life 268 the second; Abbey Travel 89 the third.
