[Morris & Co..] William Morris Wallpaper, A Large Roll. "Marigold" Pattern

Offered here is a large roll of original unused Morris and Company wallpaper bearing the marks, "Morris & Co," in repeating fashion, on the outer edge of the print. This is the renowned "MARIGOLD" pattern, first designed by William Morris in 1875, and this rare example probably dates to turn of the century, c. 1900, or shortly thereafter. Superbly preserved, almost never seen thus. The roll, in its rolled-up state, is a approximately 3 inches in diameter on its end. Fine.
