A magnificent book with hand-colored (and initials and vignettes inside), full-page tissue-guarded copper plates as well as heralds and coats of arms in many colors including bold blocked silver highlight. Printed on Japan Vellum. Fair to say a thoroughly lavish production without ever running the risk of being overly garish or intrusive. An absolutely fine copy.
