First edition. Superb full crushed morocco (brown) with bold gilt strapwork and flower design on both covers, hearts covering whole of both covers and spine, by De Sauty (signed 'De Sauty' on front turn-in). A wonderful binding by De Sauty (1870-1949), active in London from 1898-1923, worked for Riviere & Son as well as the Hampstead Bindery. Binding hinges skillfully repaired, some wear to spine, otherwise near fine and distinctively Art Nouveau binding.
